Moon is an American photographer based in New York. Since she started with photography in 1999, she has been internationally recognized with her black and white platinum print works produced from film. Recently, she also garnered acclaim and success in her digital captured color prints of trees.

She held 30 solo shows in galleries and museums world wide, including MUSE- Science Museum of Trento (Italy) and Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LA), and has joined 30 international group exhibitions. The works are in the collections of The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (TX), The Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego (CA), Louisiana Art & Science Museum (LA), and Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Bolzano (Italy). Her work was covered by New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Chicago Tribune and Bazaar Art (China).

Moon was born in Wisconsin, and then lived in England and San Francisco before she came me to New York. She studied fine art at the University of Wisconsin.
