水墨画の世界を彷彿とさせるモノトーンの中に愛くるしいウザギの表情が印象的な作品。月を見上げるウサギたちは、おとぎ話のワンシーンから飛び出して来たかのようです。銅版画にもかかわらず、コンテのようなタッチが表現されているのは「ソフトグランドエッチング」という手法を用いたからこそ。版画工房KIDO Pressとのコラボレーションは、MAYA MAXXの新たな世界を実現しました。手透きの和紙に銅版画という趣きのある組み合わせは落ち着いた印象を受けます。シリーズで揃えるのもおすすめです。

Born in 1961, in Ehime.
