この「This Must be the Place」のシリーズは、山内が生後半年から8歳迄過ごしたアメリカフロリダ州ベロ・ビーチを21年振りに訪ね、撮影した写真作品。彼女の記憶の中にぼんやりと残っている記憶をたどる旅でもありました。　この駐車場は彼女が母親や家族と毎日のように買い物にいったスーパーマーケットで、21年振りに訪ねた初日の夜に撮影。

神奈川県生まれ。幼少期の8年間をアメリカで過ごす。2006年より都内スタジオ勤務/フォトグラファーアシスタントを経て、2009年よりフリーランスフォトグラファーとして活動開始。主にカルチャー、音楽、ファッションの雑誌/WEB媒体にて活動中。生後半年から8歳まで暮らしたアメリカ　フロリダ州の小さな町ベロ・ビーチを21年振りに訪ね、撮影した写真「this must be the place」で360°で展覧会を開催、数誌のメディアで取り上げられる等話題となる。

Profile

1985 Born in Kanagawa, her early childhood years were in the United States. After completing a degree in studio work and working as an assistant photographer in Tokyo for 3 years, she started her career as an independent photographer.
Her work mainly appears in culture, music and fashion magazines as well as online media.
